I guess many of us felt revealed when Giancarlo Fisichella today were confirmed as Force India's driver along with Adrian Sutil for 2008. In other words, the 35-year old Italian took the were last racingseat this year. The upcoming season will totally be Fisichellas 13th, earlier he has scored three Grand Prix wins.

The very first win for Fisico came in Brazil 2003, where he made a great move turning a medioker Jordan all the way to top of the podium, in the intensive rain. Now Jordan has become Force India over the years, so you can say that Giancarlo drove for the team in both 1997 (Minardi), 2002 & 2003 (Jordan).

Now Fisico is back to improve the car and hopefully score the team's very first points in 2008. From the bottom of my heart: Welcome Giancarlo and may the force be with you! *-)

I hope he'll be happy with his new team, and I agree, he's a gentleman in F1.

And happily things have got better. 12th was really good considering it stayed completely dry and Fisi's start didn't work out as well as Adrian's. I am impressed with how Fisi went about clawing back the places. In fact, even some of the anti-Fisi people on one of the other forums I'm in had to admit he'd done well.

Keep it up, Giancarlo, and may Force India produce an ever-improving car for you.

Fisico finally climbs up to #12 at Sepang.
No stopping the man now, if lady luck is on his side - be sure he will not dissapoint. I think its fair to say that Force India's hopes are pinned on him.
It is high pressure, Fisico will deliver in good time, lets just keep the patience.
