About Me: I am an Englishman who have lived in Southern California, just north of San Diego, for 7 years.
I was married to a French girl for 20 years, but was divorced in 1992. Have had no really special lady in my life for a long time now.
Music: I love most types of music and could not live my life without it. I enjoy a wide taste, from classical to heavy rock. Some of my favourites include Enigma, Enya, Sting, The Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Cheryl Crow, Led Zeppelin, Beethoven, Mozart, Mary Hopkins, Dire Straits, George Michael.
Movies: The Lord of the Rings (I have collectors editions of all 3 films), Lawrence of Arabia, The Ipcress File, Dr Zivago, Forest Gump, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, A Beautiful Mind... and many more.
TV: Formula 1 on Speed, Criminal Minds and CSI on CBS, CNN, Bill Mayer on HBO, KPBS HD, Discovery HD, (but don't want to spend too much time watching it!).
Books: Seven Pillars of Wisdom by T.E.Lawrence, The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, most by John Stienbeck, Andy McNab, Leslie Charteris, Ian Fleming.
Likes: I love F1 racing and have been a supporter of Giancarlo Fisichella since he first started in the sport.
Adventurousm positive, happy people with a friendly, affectionate nature and an open mind.
Dislikes: Negative, prudish people that always like to tell others how to run thier lives.
Hobbies: Formula 1 (of course!), Guild Wars, OFP, ArmA, sailing, fishing, enjoying the outdoors, driving my Mustang Convertible - especially up the unspoilt coast roads of California.
Vices: I smoke a pipe (outdoors only) and never cigarettes. Fortunately, most non-smokes like the aroma :)
