The new Force India livery was unveiled with glitz and glamour at the Gateway of India, Mumbai. The new livery had a Kingfisher flavour to it than an Indian flavour. This was on expected lines, because Kingfisher had parted ways with Toyota a month back.

The new car has white, tungsten and golden color with red stripes. I was disappointed with the predominant white color of the car. There are already many cars with white on the grid (Williams, Honda, Renault, Toyota, and may be Super Aguri).

I thought the car should have had an Indian flavour to it. It was not bound by any Japanese company to have red and white on it, Toyota, Honda and Super Aguri do. Although I did like the golden and black rear of the car.

India has arrived in Motorsports. From Narain Karthikeyan to be the first Indian in a Formula 1 race, to his winning the A1 GP in Zhuhai, China. From an Indian F1 team to an Indian Grandprix in 2010.

Then there are a few potential F1 driver's in the waiting list like Karun Chandhok and Armaan Ebrahim. Chandok is driving for iSport in the GP2 series.

Then there is Naren Kumar, representing Team SIDVIN India, is all set to become the face of Indian rallying by subscribing to the Production World Rally Championship (PWRC) 2008.

Now there is a possibility of another India F1 team, with Indian drivers, if things go according to the Spice Group's plan.

India has certainly arrived in a big way in the World Motorsports arena.
